There is no 'general price' in football. I thought Real reached a level of stupidity in 2009 that couldn't be topped but I was wrong. No point in making comparisons of what Ronaldo was worth 4 years ago and thinking his value would have gone up over the years. This isn't a market. Only Real Madrid are competing against themselves to break transfer records!
