Kanoute was very good and socred a lot of goals for West Ham who were really never competitive. Forlan just didn't settle I think, but he's proven at International level as well.

you: penalties are goals. Strikers score goals. Soldado converted two penalties therefore he is a good striker

Yeah spurs net spend this summer is not a lot, however it's champions league or bust for them really. They spent a load of money, probably very good wages too, and want a new stadium. We saw how difficult it was for us to build a new stadium, with champions league money. If they want that new stadium, they simply have to get champions league. It's almost last chance saloon for them. If they fail 3 years in a row to beat arsenal, despite spending over 100 million to close the gap, they really won't be an attractive option.
