2-0 Isco, it should've been 1-1 moments before.

2-0 FT.
Hmmm Club President for Barcelona Bartomeu has said in the case of Catalan independence they'd have to decide which league to compete in.
I don't think it's your choice tbf and also belies independence I'd have thought, unless this mythical European Super League does finally happen.
Barca playing in a Catalan league would be ridiculous.
Yep, it's not their decision - it'd be up to La Liga and from what I read, the league is run by a nationalist right-winger and a Rajoy ally. Which is why Barca didn't have any good-will for their wish of abandoning the match on Sunday unless they were prepared to drop the three points.
If they did leave, then long term it'd be the death of them as a major power in world football. They'd just turn into another Celtic.
The artificial construct known as Spain will start collapsing faster now. It is mired in unrecoverable debt, it's government and financial institutions are overtly criminal and its latest act of brutalising civilians at the ballot box has attracted far more attention and revulsion than the EU and their media stooges are letting on. Football clubs have led revolutions before. The despicable Marketing fans showed what's on the alternative table with their fascist salutes and chanting. If the outcome favours humanity Spain will officially disintegrate and the regions will establish new relationships, including a football league. Italy might go the same way. Whatever happens, there's a lot of money at stake and a lot of self-interested parties, so I doubt we'll see Barca playing in a minor league.

Aren't all countries artificial constructs?
Your face is an artificial construct.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
I only add a bit of foundation
No. But it depends what your definition of a country is. If you consider Great Britain to be a country then it's as artificial as it's possible to be. But Wales, for example, as a country, that has an ancient culture and geography, a legitimate language. The Welsh are even genetically distinct, apparently. They were distinct before some sack of shit politician came along and started spouting laws at them.
Here's something hilarious from the BBC. Regarding Catalonia:
It's not difficult to discover how the communist scum at the BBC perceive independence, is it? Independent? But who would tax them? Who would tell them if they can come or go? Who would fiddle they money? Who would drag them into foreign wars? There'd be much more to set up in the event of independence, though. Border control. Customs. Proper international relations. Defence. A central bank. Inland revenue. Air traffic control.
All of these are currently run by Madrid.
Indeed. This is what independence and liberty is all about.
