I have decided Strauss is too posh...him and Gower together is a bit much.

England 215 all out. Swann doesn't fancy whacking it around.

It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

Meh, I can only imagine that Anderson is going to kill them. Unless Clarke gets a hundred I doubt Australia will even pass England's score.

I appreciate the 'education' Nassa is giving some of the part-timers that only watch the Ashes, but this is all a little bit too basic. There's only so many ways you can say "Play straight" - though he's giving it a fucking good go.

I like the 'masterclasses' they're going to be showing at the lunch breaks and so on. That teaches everyone something new. Prior's wicket-keeping masterclass was very interesting if anyone saw it. Showed why it's better to take the ball in front of the wickets for runouts.

Quite cool on the Ashes Event Centre looking at how different views of the wickets in HawkEye mode went. Lots of stats there for some true sporting geeks.

NASA was trying to put "he's a slogger" in as kind a way as possible.

It's just a strong bottom hand...

This Rodgers guy is playing his 2nd Test Match at 35. But he has played about 250 first class games, averages 50+ and has 60 centuries.
