Yeah I do feel for the players now. The Emirates is a pretty volatile place at the best of times and it's all directed towards the management but the players are the ones who feel the brunt of it. They're not being given the best possible chance of success anymore and you have to wonder what potential transfer targets think of the whole situation as well.
"It's a big disappointment because we started well and suddenly everything went against us."
"Even at 10 men we had chances to come back to 2-2"What was it 4 shots on goal?
Didn't think of planning for injuries by signing players before the season then?"We have some problems to get players back for Wednesday night."
"We could have won the game, there were a lot of positives in our game. That is what we have to focus on."Really? Like what....defending like amateurs?
Yes obviously but if the calamity didn't let us down everytime we need him the most it would help, it puts you at a disadvantage when players risk getting sent off like this."We have to live with [the Koscileny penalty decision]. It doesn't mean you have to lose the game."
"We are hugely disappointed to start with a defeat. It is a huge, huge blow for us."Don't worry we beat Man City last week, this was just bad luck
They meant the transfer market not the food market or pipedream market"We were on the market before the game and it is the same after the game."
Oh noes, Gibbs has a deep cut, have you got enough cotton wool to wrap him up in"Gibbs has a deep cut, Sagna, Rosicky has a problem. Ramsey has a problem with a kick on his ankle."![]()
That sagna gif is horrific. Looks like benteke tips him deliberately, but wouldn't expect the spanner of a ref to see it.
Sagna is incredibly lucky.
Wasn't planning on going out tonight but I think I need a few whiskeys now tbf.
