Yep Vidal was the one, the potential game changer for us under Wenger. Not the best passer or dribbler of the ball but we have those in abundance. It would've been like having another Alexis in midfield, harassing the shit out of opposing teams and creating a dynamic in our team we haven't seen for years. And he went for £25m. Unreal. I would've been happy for us to pay twice that amount for him. But again, when you look at the options football wise for him, there is no competition between us and Bayern. A CL semi-final team at least alongside a guaranteed league medal. Instead we get Coquelin. A hard working, well-intentioned player but just another work in progress alongside a host of other players shoehorned into a formation that doesn't fit the personnel.
