Obviously I'm not bitter but holy shit, Spurs and Utd getting to the final after being utterly shite all season really does underline how god-awful the quality has been in this competition. Can you imagine either of these in the CL?

Not even funny. A brisk jog to the title? Not criticising your lot for hauling in the points - just saying, didn't need to break a sweat. If you are going to win a title with your feet up, this is the year for it. Those two shitkickers, Utd and the spuds, in a B-list final? In some ways it's fitting. Not good enough to mix it with the likes of Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava. On the other hand, just how shallow is the European talent pool right now?
