Another one we can cross off the listSir Alex Ferguson has told Manchester United's Portuguese midfielder Nani, 26, that he does have a future at Old Trafford despite being a target for Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus.

Yeah let's be honest, we're not likely to sign anyone that will make any difference are we, we've just had a good mini run of games and Wenger doesn't like spending money unless it's on unknown cheap players.
Sneijder is available apparently for £11m
Brilliant player and if Wenger persists with his no actual DM in midfield then we should get Sneijder in and put him as the deep lying play maker ala Pirlo.
Would also mean the end of Arteta so all the more reason
out:
santos
chamakh
squillaci
wenger
in:
defensive midfielder
winger
llorente
klopp
Baines, Fellaini, Sneijder, Llorente and a keeper but i cant think of any who are available and are quality but the 4 named there, if we get them, 4th is ours
Left back is a must. Santos is a loon and Gibbs is back up at best.
Theo being played as a central striker is interesting as before this I'd have said signing a striker was a sure thing, but now I'm not so sure.
The team is certainly lacking world class talent all over the pitch but it's whether we can/will sign world class talent. If just 'good' players are available in Jan then what's the point? We have lots of 'good' players but hardly any 'great' ones.
I've said it before and I'll say it again... The ONLY difference between Arsenal and Man U/City is the quality in the final third. They have an abundance of quality where as we look very thin. Man U's defence is just as shit as ours and their central midfield is worse. However, their attacking third is amazing. If only RVP was available to buy!
The only way we're going to improve drastically is by buying an RVP/Aguero but you need to spunk £30m+
Bet the farm on Falcao.
Go big or go home.
Newcastle agree a 5m fee for Debuchy.
