That's my view yes.
Cisc would be a decent striking option in the summer.
Ozil has a lot of potential but he has yet to prove it on the big stage.
Für eure Sicherheit
You guys are acting like Cesc isn't world class.
We're still waiting to see the best of Ozil but we know what Cesc is capable of. Besides the assists and his overall influence on our playing style, he's added goals to his game. I also like the fact that he can play the deep laying playmaker or push up and play close to the striker if needed.
Ozil will have to up his work rate, add goals to his game and really stomp his authority on a match to compare. So far, Ramsey has been the main man for the midfield. Ozil has come from Real Madrid! Cesc had to learn and lead the hard way playing with a very young squad and taking on a lot. In time, Ozil will get there. Or I hope he does. But coming from Real Madrid, I guess he had a much easier role and could depend on other players to save the day. We don't have that sort of luxury here.
Cesc is world class.
Next to Flamini, a proper DM, he'd be superb. Flamini doing the dirty work and Cesc controlling the midfield, either of which Arteta doesn't do.
Yes please.

Yeah, they bottled it.
It's a much better unit now.

Rosicky, Sagna, Walcott and Chesney were also part of that legacy. Just because they played for an unsuccessful team doesn't mean they aren't good players. It's like saying RVP wouldn't be a better striking option over Giroud.
We're more focused on defence now and we finally have a proper defensive unit. That has a lot to do with our success this season and we've started to defend as a team.
