I just keep thinking of the way Henry used to finish for us. You'd rarely see him hitting the ball at a hundred miles an hour off his laces into the only spot he could possibly place it in - most of the time, he'd use some variation of a side-foot, whether he was opening his body up to bend it round the keeper, or simply rolling it underneath them as they rushed towards him, and he scored goals for fun like that. Not all successful strikers have to be super-sharp-shooters, who can flash a ball into the net with half a chance - others can be more about clever use of momentum and movement, and using that to fashion more straightforward chances for themselves that don't require such incredible finishes? This is the direction I think we should be pushing Welbeck towards...
