So if I'm not wrong, Kante, Sagna, Payet all played this weekend where as our French lot are nowhere to be seen.

Tbf Kante didn't play in the final (or semi?) Payet was shit tonight and Sagna I don't know. Although that game was dull as shit and City pubbed the win in the end.

Barely seen anything from this weekend apart from our own game. I can see that trend continuing throughout the season.

    Football.

    Absolutely not interested.

Most of last season I just ignored it (to a point), and was much happier for it.

I honestly haven't watched MOTD for about two years, as it's not just the football that grates...it's all the shit punditry and cliché that comes with it.

    I'm done.

I'm taking my disinterest to a new level this season. Looked up our score and thought "oh", did look at the others on Saturday. Was vaguely aware that there was probably a game going on last night but couldn't have told you who played or the result (although I have now heard via a colleague).

Big fat "Meh" to all of it.

Yep. And while it might look petulant in a way, I can't deny that the tedious groundhog day situation at our club has a lot to do with my waning interest...

And the football doesn't help. Highly overrated players hacking the ball around in a dour and negative 90 minutes punctuated by the odd moment when one of the pubbers cheats to finally break the stalemate. Salt rubbed in the wounds by the hysterical media and pundits - what a goal, best league in the world. Or, finally the useless cunt got one on target, let's hype the shit out of this because our paycheque depends on it.

Let's face it, the summer transfer, the first match and the comments from our manager are telling just that nothing is going to change from the last few seasons. In fact, things will be worse in terms of league position as our rivals have strengthened big time.

I really don't except us to win anything every year, but I do expect us to be in contention. It's no wonder everyone is becoming apathetic!

And yet the media still bang on about the attractive football that Arsenal play. We haven't played good football for years, ocasionally yes, but not generally.
