No offence but Costa is sh*t and not a replacement for Suarez in any form.
I think it will, you can tell from the comments made, sometimes you p*ss someone off so much that out of principle they don't want to do business with you, this is an example, there's zero chance he's coming to Arsenal and that's being optimistic.
As I said they'd be affecting their top 4 chances (that's money in the bank), we're well short of their valuation and they're adamant they won't sell to us, so it's not my opinion it's theirs.
I don't see how that's relevant. They're the club that are bidding for him, not you.
Business and principles? They are not common bedfellows, not for money of this amount, or the amount of money I would bid anyway.
Their top four chances are going to be effected anyway, potentially. That's why I am saying they have to weigh up what is best for not but also, they don't have to think about that so long as there isn't another bid - that I concede.
So Big Bad John W Henry is going to let his most prize asset, rot in the reserves on a wage of £150K, real smart! His value will depreciate and you have a unhappy player spreading his negativity in throughout the club. Why not do the sensible thing and atleast sell him to the highest bidder. Shit we e have sold our best players to rival clubs for so many years. He thinks this is American sports and until these americans grasp the idea of player power/revolt, they will just ruin the game. I would rather sell a player who doesn't want to wear the shirt. You have almost 3 weeks to find a replacement. And as for that **** rodgers, he talks about loyality, he's the same knobhead who left watford after 5 mins to join reading. Who the fcuk is he to play the moral ground. Just sell the damn player to us or Madrid, same shit for Rooney and Bale. What's this crap from a man ure supporter sticking his 2 pence in, saying why should liverbore sell to a rival club, how the fcuk was it okay for you to nick our best player and striker in europe, who won you the league on his own. What a twat.
If they have bid and if he is a replacement for Suarez as you say, he might just be an addition.
When you're loaded sometimes money doesn't matter that much, if you can afford it standing your ground works better, they can always sell him next summer or to Real.
Not as much as if they sold him to one of their top 4 rivals, if they sold him to us effectively they'd be losing him and strengthening us (a double whammy) and making it even harder to get top 4 and thus the cash cow that comes with it.
They'd have Diego Costa, Suarez, Sturridge, Aspas and Borini.I think it's safe to say this bid might have been in preparation of Suarez leaving. Plus, those two nutters in the same side is only going to end in tears.
He is loaded but Liverpool are not - after all, as he points out, they are not even in Europe this season so that's a decent amount of income lost against other sides to begin with.
That is the logical downside, no doubt but Liverpool have to what is best for them in terms of gaining points, not neccesarily think about us, if it's going to otherwise impinge on themselves. Also, they, unlike us for the players we sold will be heavily compensated financially for the loss - it might be too late for this month (I don't think it is) but it's also money that they have available for future windows too. Liverpool have to build their squad up before they're going to get 70+ points, realistically, no club ever jumps from 7th to 4th.
Makes sense that Liverpoool tried to get Costa as a replacement for Suarez but can't get him. Liverpool's owner then releases that statement.
Gettin' fucking embarrassing, just close the damn thread FFS!
