They've also lost ATP tennis and quite a few others sports recently.
Basically they over spent to secure PL football and that's basically drained all their resources to spend on anything else. I think they pay 5 billion for their PL packages yet wouldn't commit 25 million to secure all La Liga rights which puts it into perspective.
And all this whilst they've raised prices.
I can see the domestic PL football money bubble bursting soon as Sky are going to start shedding subscribers at a fast rate. Hopefully it means we get some legal PL online streaming service soon, as provided it's reasonable (~£10 a month) I'd actually subscribe.
Getting rid of Sky was the best thing I ever did. Over the course of 12 months you don't realise just how much you're wasting.

Sky have been degrading their coverage year-on-year.
Their downfall was getting in Scott Minto to replace Mark Bolton; now they don't even have a proper Revista, just Balague talking at the Sky Cafe for a bit and Terry Gibson locked away in the production truck.
Also they don't even have a studio to talk about the matches anymore nor any real build-up. And what happened to the bar they created for the Revista programme? Maybe they can't rid of Merse from there.
Who fuck the are Eleven Sports and what eleven sports is it that they show?
I'll have to cut back on the amount of packages I have with Sky I think.
Eleven Sports is the ex-BT Sports director's project. Apparently they already have millions of subscribers in Europe and the States.
Eleven subscriptions is what we need to be wary of. By the time this winds out every CEO and his dog will have their paws in sports fans wallets.
