This transfer, if true, does not make any sense to me!! We might as well have held onto RVP for the last year of his contract rather than spend all this money on a 31 year old just back from a serious injury! If he came for 6-7 million quid, it makes sense but not for the numbers being quoted!

Can you honestly see Arsene paying 15million for a 31 year old...a World Class one may I add? His wage demands?

Yup it makes no sense at all. £16m and £100k+ pw for a 31 yr old?? Why not just give RVP a £16m signing on fee?!
