Excuses for Wenger:

1. Nobody could have predicted Bif would kill our threat up front with his lack of pace.
2. Nobody could have predicted Debucy and Merts on the right with Campbell ahead would have given us so many problems and the spuds so many opportunities.
3. Nobody could have predicted Cazorla could be bullied out of the game in an agricultural midfield tussle.

I think we should keep things the same in the second half. Wait until the 70th minute and then make the obvious substitution and nick a point, thereby blowing our chance to go top. If we just persist with something that's not working maybe it will suddenly start working.

We could also just do what we normally do when the manager has fucked up again. Hope that Alexis or Ozil can conjure up some magic and the second tier striker Bif can deflect one in off his backside.
