I think RVP was better personally.
Not for me, how you behave on the pitch is important, we don't want Joey Barton's running around all over the place.
Players who think they can get away with racist remarks and violence on the pitch and then move clubs as soon as they feel like of how long they've been somewhere are not good for anyone.
You're comparing what he's done to Barton?
Barton is a criminal.
Suarezs wrong doings have been on the pitch.
We've had druggies, rapists, drink drivers.
A biter is minor in comparison
Suarez has been accused of racism, in the real world that would be criminal.
Suarez has bitten someone (twice now), in real life that would be assault and criminal.
Maybe but so what, we don't what bad role models in the game ideally, he's an awful role model.
On top of this he never recognises when he's in the wrong (an example was when he refused to shake Evra's hand).
The other problem with Suarez is also the fact he'll say and do anything to manufacture a move even when he's just signed a new contract. Maybe we should just not bother with contracts and just let players walk away when they feel like it if contracts don't count for anything.
In all fairness Evra is a massive, massive cunt. Such a huge cunt, in fact, that nothing bar that fact has any statistical significance. Even if the whole world ended tomorrow and billions died, it would be unremarkable in comparison to how huge a cunt Evra is.

If Evra doesn't put his hand out to shake, how can Suarez shake it?
Like I said, he did his things on the pitch.
Likes of Vieira etc were no saints on the pitch.
Suarez is one of the best strikers in the world and has scored goals wherever he's been. Couldn't care less about minor incidents
You don't have to pay a release clause with your first bid. As you yourself have said, you bid the least you think will be accepted and in that case it wasn't. In any case, we did pay his release clause, so no Swansea weren't "fucked... out of money".
As for the no-buy clause, there were so many caveats it obviously wasn't worth the paper it was written on.
But this is all a side issue, Suarez has made a number of allegations over the summer which he has failed to back up with any evidence, or found to be simply untrue. I don't really care about an apology, this isn't primary school.
I agree with that, he does seem a nasty piece of work. Just because he was racist against Evra (who has bad mouted Arsenal in the past) doesn't make it any less bad. Add to that his refusal to shake Evra's hand plus having bitten someone on the pitch TWICE, he's an unstable player who I think is more trouble than he's worth.
Rodgers does appear to insist it becomes a primary school incident though. He hasn't done himself or the club any favours, but he's almost carpeted Suarez's route out. Might not be us but he certainly won't be staying now. Rodgers really needs to be very quiet, but the damage is probably done anyway.

He tried to shake his hand, that's why he got annoyed when Suarez didn't.
Vieira was not in the same league as this loser in terms of bad behaviour, this guy is a cheat (the handball in the world cup), is violent, has been charged with racism and a total mercernary who doesn't give a sh*t about anything but himself.
He's good but there's other players out there of better character like him, not interested in having players like him at the club, in a year or two he'd screw us over, guaranteed.
