GW reverting to type about a player whos had 5 good games after a season of shite
Amazing performance. Him alongside Per were my Men of the match. Had Sinclair and Rodwell in his back pocket the whole game, though not to dampen things those two are incredibly shit. Bigger tests will come against the likes of Nani, Hazard et al but I'm confident he will rise up to the challenge.
Anyway if keeps up the hard work I'm certain he'll become a legend. Unlike the likes of Coquelin, Diaby and the OX, who I worry about, he seems to be a lot more humble and down to earth. Most likely appreciative of where he is and just glad he gets to play weekly for the club who he supports.
Was Hodgson at the game? Not that it's a massive issue but it would be good to have another England lad in the team. Jack, Gibbs, Ox, Theo, Jenkinson ...... the future of England is Arsenal.
my favourtie jenkinson moment yesterday was when he chased down a ball that he had no right to win, yet he beat lescott to it and set up a podolski shot.
it just summed him up, strong, quick but above determined to never ever give up
awful last season and fucking crap yeste....
in all seriousness he played well. he kept things simple for once instead of trying to overcomplicate. when he does that it benefits everyone. it was also the first game he didn't try a suicide pass, think bouldy's had a word.
