Gerrard has upped his game this season and playing well as a more defensive-minded player. Won a few 50/50s in the middle. Think England have found their midfield. They should only play one out of Theo and Wellbeck though, and put a 'link player' on the left.

That he has. But he's also been making a shit load of chances as well, for us anyway, I think this season he already has his highest number of assists, as well as the odd goal.

Gerrard has always been a fantastic player, you lose count the number of times he's helped Liverpool out of a hole, even at the age of 32 he's still a massive influence for Liverpool.

I can remember the day when Keane and Vieira were around and Gerrard was emerging as a player with a similar influence on games.

Rodgers has saved him tbh.

Well I think someone has told him that he can't go round like a mad dog anymore, whether that's Rodgers. But I think the most important thing has been Lucas coming back, which has meant he doesn't have to be as deep or as defensive as he was earlier in the season (where he wasn't playing well at all).

I just hope it lasts....
