It seems that we can only perform against bog-standard teams with slow players like Reading. Come up against a half decent side that's up for it and is willing to close us down, we don't seem to fancy it at all. Cazorla and Arteta (not for the first time this season) are doing sweet FA today, and only Wilshere is trying to make things happen.

Theo has shown good touches and movement at times but it is hard to get into a game when you don't have the ball. It's not really about the attack today. All three have had a pop on goal but they're not getting fed anything because we're struggling in the middle. i wouldn't focus on them too much today.

wilshere's yellow card was actually a brilliant tackle. in 20 years time this sport will be a non contact sport if you're being penalised for tackling and getting the ball. players will just stop tackling knowing they'll get carded.
