Rumours of Ancelotti being 'sounded out' whatever that really means. Start of the end for Northern Ireland's prodigal son.

I don't think he'll last the season/summer.
The beginning of the end was probably the Stoke game.
What could Ancelotti do with that squad? Yet another massive overhaul would be needed in the summer and even then probably not enough for a dramatic turn around. At least a 3/4 season project to get Pool back into real contention at the top given how far the squad has deteriorated.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
God knows. I still think there's the basis of a decent team in there, but a lot of it comes down to fitness to key players and confidence. We've got neither and haven't had it for a while.
At least with a Klopp he would inject some immediate energy and passion (for want of a better word) into the team, gee them up and get them going. Ancelotti may not bring the same thing, but at least he'd come with the sheer reputation and gravitas of a top manager. Assuming either of them even want the job.
Though playing players in their proper positions (e.g. a kid who's played a few games at right back but otherwise is a CB as our first choice left back going into the new season is crazy), playing with some actual drive and actually having an idea of how to play with the players that we have would go a long way.
It definitely feels like a case of 'when' and not 'if' though. And that 'when' is getting closer with each game.
Rodgers has gone.
