I don't think this record would hold much sentimental value for him. Nobody really cares about 'calender' records - season tallys are more important IMO.

I want Van Persie to play. But if Wenger rests Van Persie, I know it's not a decision he would've taken lightly. Apparently the secret behind Van Persie's injury-free run is going on this GPS system which tracks his energy levels and workrate. Not long ago Wenger said he needed to rest him and since Van Persie hasn't exactly been great on the pitch either.
