Arsenal v Blackburn
Michael Appleton has done well since he took over at Blackburn and they are pushing for the Championship play-offs now.
Rovers had a good result in the last round by going to Derby and beating them 3-0 but they are not going to win the Cup and I think they will view this tie as a massive pay-day. Put it this way - I cannot see them stopping Arsenal.
The Gunners played with 10 men for the last half-hour against Sunderland on Saturday and had to battle to hold on for a win. But that was good news because usually they crumble - it must have showed their manager Arsene Wenger that his side can fight when they have to, and that they don't have to show their silky skills every week.
Arsenal have got a Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday but I don't think that will make a massive difference to Wenger's team selection.
His team against Rovers might tell us whether he thinks the likes of Jack Wilshere are a bit fatigued, but why not use your players who are in form?
Lawro's prediction: 2-0
Pleat says: "We cannot look at Blackburn getting anything at all there really. They have picked up under Appleton but whatever side Arsenal play will be capable of winning that tie." Pleat's prediction: 3-0
