By the time a player traps the ball and gets in a position to play that ball, the opposition defender has closed the gap. It should be a split second; if not first-touch, one touch to steady and straight through. But from the pass, the control isn't instant...it's far too slow.Iif the final ball seems slow it's because we're taking too long to play that pass.
I'm talking about players under no pressure looking up and then playing a horrendously misplaced pass, or players who can't cross even when they have all day, or simple headers, the very basics of the game. We can't seem to do that any more unless the ball is going backwards. Frustrating.

I think you've been the better side. They are really really really really really bad at defending and their midfielders are awful & lazy. I thought italian teams were supposed to know how to organise themselves and stuff at the back. This lot clearly don't know how to do that. The number of times that your players got into a massive space between their midfield and defence was just plain awful and it came to nothing cos you guys like to pass the ball to death. A more direct team would have scored at least 1 more goal from such a position.

First time in a long time Chamakh has looked as has Rosicky, the mistakes have come from Ramsey. The midfield has looked dynamic and available in attack and defence. The second worst defender in the world has been brilliant. If we get a balance between the approach against Barcodes and this, we should be fine

Playing well enough, nice goal at start. Proper centre forwards goal, Theo through the centre pls?

Udinese look very dangerous though on the counter, those 2 Ghanians have skipped past our midfield a few times. Di Natale is just class as well.

    Lets kill this off ASAP.

    Come on you Gunners!!

You're right, he usually just passes backwards like a headless chicken.

It's all he seems to know
