With theo out the damage is already done. No more injuries is not going to cut it, we need a couple of players to step up and take us up a notch to compete in the big games in February and March. Ozil will have to be one, wide open for the second candidate. Perhaps Cazorla.

Ramsey? Rosicky? Big misses for us right now and I'd expect the niggles to drop our squad strength as if we had another ACL injury or Daiby or Sanogo.

It's funny, city lose Auguero, with Jetovic already on the pitch as a recognised no9 - they bring on djecko with negredo, remaining on the bench. Where as our top scorer hasn't played at all this year, our most lethal players (wallcot/polodski) won't be available for 50% of the matches this season whilst I've seen comments that suggest that Wenger is under performing with the squad he's got!?

It's a miracle we're still in contention tbh, we've had horrific luck with what little we've got. Blame wenger for having a shitty squad all you like but his man management of what he's got available has proven to be that he's the best in the league right now. I would agree with you on the coaching aspect. The football we play, the passing & movement throughout the club down to the youth teams is great to watch but even within the youth set-up it has won us sweet F.A for many years now. His biggest problem is change. He only knows what he did 10 years ago & is unwilling to accept how the game has moved on, mainly through money. His tactics & team selection at times beggar belief & his ability to change things when they're going wrong is null & void. He is a good coach but a million miles from being a manager that can get take Arsenal forward. We are entering the "promised land" of riches to spend, to compete & yet we choose to do it with a manager that can't get his head round why we need to spend.
