Arseblog are running a story from Sport.es who, in turn, are saying that Wenger and Sanchez had a private meeting in Brazil, and that's what swung the deal for us - hopefully there's been a few other private chats going on with other players too, in between the sunbathing and pina coladas?

This one is pretty much done. Great signing, Ozil and Sanchez in successive summer windows is not too be sniffed at. Hoping for a top class DM now to round off what could be a great window.

In fact, they say Wenger 'seduced' him.

But overall, I suppose it gives the lie to the idea we can't do business in his absence.
