I certainly don't know anyone who believes Wenger can take the club forward, I just don't see anyone say this?. People like me say the following

    A) The results this season are pretty average but they do not constitute the kind of crisis that would make the instant dismissal of the manager in the middle of the season warranted or desirable, to properly replace a manager this is best done at the end of the season.

    B) Whatever we want, we all know that Wenger and only Wenger will decide how long he remains manager at the club. If however there is any suggestion in a year or so of him extending his contract post 2017 than you will find me jumping ship to protest with you guys. However I don't think that will happen I think within 18 months I believe he will make public his plan to retire in 2017
11 points from 8 games is the second lowest total recorded at this stage in the Wenger era, while the total of 2 wins from 8 is a new low under him, and you're going to sit there and tell me we're not in a fucking crisis? If that doesn't constitute to a crisis, I don't know what does.

We won the FA cup, signed Alexis Sanchez, and still got worse. If that doesn't make you seriously concerned about the guy in charge, I don't know what will.

Some of you will blame your own mother before you do Wenger, but this man is finished. He is a backdated, out of touch, stubborn fool, and he needs to go.

Tbh, the fear of the unknown is what is ruining our ambitions of a football club. The same BS of "what will happen after wenger leaves", "will we get anyone better?" etc, is beyond stupid. We HAVE a problem right freaking now and we deal with it. We have HAD this same problem for the last 6-7 years and we didnt deal with it... when the F*** are we going to deal with it then?!

Would anyone be in an abusive relationship because you are scared of the unknown, or would you move on? If you are not ready to move on, I am sure you want Wenger to stay.

PS: Do not take the last analogy and take Wenger's management as an abusive relationship, because I know how his followers like to twist words and not talk facts.
Arsene Wenger, the only football manager that got paid 8 million quid to do nothing but sit on his arse..

Why are you using an analogy if you know yourself it doesn't stand up?

    No. The stats prove otherwise.

How we have fared this season so far in relation to other seasons doesn't matter. The predictable, dull tippy tappy that even the dross of the league know how to stifle now doesn't matter either.

All that matters are stats which can be twisted and angled in a bid to mask the real situation.

It stands up, but my comparison is a little bit exaggerated and I know his 'followers' will use anything to defer attention from the fact that he needs to be fired yesterday.

Can you explain how anyone has done that?

Do try and answer without using emoticons, there's a good chap.

You guys do live in a bubble, because you make these daft analogies to counter the point no one has made.

I'm not frightened of Wenger going, I wanted him to go at the end of last season I thought it was the perfect time for him to end his time with us.

I have told you what my reasons are, I don't find sacking a manager mid season to be a particularly helpful strategy unless you have a club sliding towards relegation (and even then it's sometimes a gamble that often doesn't pay off). Six wins, Six Draws and three defeats in fifteen games is not a great return by any estimation but its not crisis mode either.
Also you really don't have your pick of managers mid season, if the plan is for Steve Bould to take over the reigns wouldn't a transitional hand over rather than chucking him in at the deep end without a supporting coaching team. If we wanted someone from outside, they and the clubs won't want to have to replace their own manager mid season so more likely to snub your advances. This is why Chelsea have had to appoint so many interim managers.
I don't know how many times I can explain this to you, I am not a Wenger supporter using fear mongering (I'd be quite happy for him to go end of the season only I know it won't happen) I don't see how we profit from sacking a manager mid-season.
And the dull tippy, tappy football you allude to has been with us arguably since Fabregas broke into the first team ten years ago.......it probably looks worse at the moment because the midfield don't press or track back when not in Posession.

    Brilliant analogy.

These muppets want to keep hold of wenger because they hope he'll suddenly change and have the same impact he had in 97/98. It won't happen.

    Time to move on.

Let's just stop all this nonsense and bullshit speculation and opinion shall we, and deal in FACTS! The FACT is, without Wenger we simply wouldn't be where we are today, and I defy anyone to dispute that.

When you say "these muppets" who are you referring to?
