Two comments:

First, Arsenal have played like this for a few seasons. The presence of van Persie glossed over this previously.

Second, Arsenal have two new strikers and a new midfield pivot. It is going to take a while for them to gel and for the rest of the team to get used to them.

Yeah I know and I've long thought it was sh*t to watch tbh.

Thing is though, the strikers are appearing in midfield and on the wing, not exactly the right place to be, sadly we don't have time to wait for players to gel.

We should have, Giroud missed a sitter. It's only the 2nd game of the season. Let them gel.
