A really embarrassing lack of quality from both teams, despite the huge amounts of cash sloshing around on that pitch. Except for a few glimpses from Alexis and Iwobi.

We've managed to smear more shit over Liverpool than they've smeared over us, so we are slightly unfortunate to go in level.

Unknown what system we are playing. None I guess. But if there is one, it certainly doesn't accommodate Alexis. If you want to play him as a central striker then you need to attack in numbers and with pace.

Ref's done quite well I thought. He gave us the pen, foe a start. Most of the others would have waved that on despite it being obvious.

Well, that was bloody brilliant wasn't it. WTF is Walcott taking penalties for???? Nice goal from him just after though. Seemed to be in control then a needless but soft free kick. Ramsey back to his old self, trying for glory with that long hopeful shot instead of the simple through ball to Walcott!!! Second half is going to be interesting.

Coutinho is like a drug cheat there. He shamelessly cheats to get an advantage and then he takes all the plaudits from the advantage. Really nasty stuff. He's not the only one of course. Iwobi dived too just a few minutes earlier and that was just as unsavoury.
