I wouldn't be suprised if Sahin's team, or Madrid have leaked that to the press as a way of warning us to deal and deal quickly.
They just don't want to sell to us. And it is apparent that Wenger has been after this dude for years, and I would have thought, wants to buy him. So that buy out clause is likely the thing holding everything up.

It's either that, or Modric. Not that he'll be going to Tottenham but if it proves impossible for Real Madrid to get him, then they'd be loath to let Sahin go, I think.
BTW. Fair play to Sahin in all of this. Kept his mouth shut. Normally the player would be whoring themselves everywhere. Nice to see.
