Why, if Wenger is interested in bringing Draxler to Arsenal, does he think he'll get him any cheaper in the summer? According to smudger on Sky he says Shalke were prepared to take less than the summer buyout clause. If that's true then we have fucked this up beyond belief.
Option 1: Pay maybe £5mill over the odds for, a good young player with massive potential, an international, a possible replacement for judas, another German in the squad, a shot in the arm for our title challenge, a message to the players and fans we are big time serious about going for it, a message to the opposition we are back and in business, or:
Option 2: Get some 31 year old nobody from a nobody league on loan.
