Picture didn't seem to lack a bit of sharpness either.
Just because it's something that can go unnoticed, I'd like to highlight how effective Giroud is defensively. He's superb at defending corners and free-kicks, much like Dids and RVC are. When we're under pressure like at the end of the Spurs game and today, he's always back to help out and I recall him being the last man when one Spurs attack was cleared off the line!
His hassling from the front is more noticeable now too and he makes sure his physicality is felt by the defenders, which he didn't always do last season.
His attacking contribution was excellent again too. Bringing the midfielders into play whenever he could with strong hold-up play and lovely little passes. He of course had a major part in both goals as well.
Hasn't scored for a few games, but his performances have been exemplary.
