This is why Maureen had to run out of Spain branded the "enemy of football". That's exactly what he is in every sense.

Leaving aside his cynical disregard for the way the game is played, here he is requesting national air time and using it to rant for almost an hour. Behind the scenes the usual suspects from the media are in a feeding frenzy. In the Daily Mail you have an ex-ref Poll criticising a serving ref, insisting Maureen shouldn't be punished for this post match circus and then going as far as to hint about corruption. This is pretty amazing. When fans say these things they are instantly consigned to the conspiracy theory rubbish bin. Everyone knows there's no way there could possibly be corruption in the English game - because we're British FFS and who would even bother with corruption in a £5billion industry full of Russian oligarchs, oil drenched Arabs and Harry Redknapp? It's ridiculous to suggest it. Unless Maureen is on the receiving end of a few decisions. Then it's a different story and the wailing of the whores can be heard ringing across the hills.

Surely Maureen is getting kicked out of football for this latest episode?
