Must be because of all the trophies he's delivered.

Some of the more hilarious estimates in bold, plucked from a genuinely hilarious list. I guess this is what insanity looks like when you quantify it. 217 mill for Neymar - a fifth of a billion. 120mill for Kane - LOL. Historians will look back at this period in our history with utter condemnation. Time for this game to collapse so we can turn it into a game again.

Hmm Ozil not worth very much but then again I guess you wouldn't be if you looked like a cross between Marty Feldman and Jeff Goldblum post transformation in the Fly.

Whilst I agree with the sentiments fans have about Red Bull Leipzig, throwing cans and bottles at away fans is nothing but incredibly thinly veiled thuggery.

I like the way German clubs are run and how beholden they are to their fan bases, and Leipzig is nothing more than a corporate entity. But using that dislike as a front for violence, pathetic.

Using football as a front for any kind of violence is the hallmark of a knuckle dragger.

Not up to speed on Leipzig, but as far as I understand it they haven't done a chav or gypo routine by buying up everyone's playas. Or am I wrong in that?

Seems to me that the real story here is Dortmund should be doing a hell of a lot better than Frankfurt and Hoffenheim, but they aren't. Maybe the Dortmund fans should throw cans at their own team, or get them to start drinking Red Bull so they have a bit more energy for the fight.

What about Volkswagen and Bayern and Wolfsburg, particularly Wolfsburg. Hasn't that team seen a ton of cash being pumped in by a corporate?

Not in all cases. It now turns out that Fergie throwing a boot in Beckham's face was highly appropriate.

Total lies, he kicked it in his face. That way he was able to claim it was a fluke

Jesus that game was almost 14 years ago. Everyone thought United were favourites because Henry was rested but that Giggs sitter aside we actually won quite comfortably.

Provided it hit him in the face I'm not sure it really matters how it was propelled.

well if you throw a boot at someone you can less credibly claim not to have meant to do it

It was obvious Ferguson did mean to do it, but he couldn't make the defence that he hadn't meant to do it had he thrown it unless he had an attack of muscular dystrophy.

    Ahem....that's Sir Beckham
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

??? Why would you want to avoid taking credit for smashing Sir Beckham's face in? Wouldn't that be a tad much on the modesty front?
