Flopped at 2 World Cups. Ok in 2006 he was young and a bit shit so you can excuse him for that but in 2010 where people were laughably calling him the best player in the world, he flopped spectacularly. I still think Messi is the best player around atm; my problem is mainly people trying to make him out to be the best player ever. He doesn't even make the top 3 GPOAT, imo.

I don't believe you have to win the World Cup to be the best player in the world but you need to perform in one. Ronaldo has. There really isn't any debate anymore tbh.
