And anyway, "Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said: "We don't have any plans to (advise over 50s to shield)."
Total bullshit story - what a surprise from Sky...

Going to be making full use of the eat out to help out scheme this month.
Food.
I'm not bothered about it, it feels like being a cheapskate, also it's a ridiculous policy, i object to taxpayers' money going to people stuffing their faces at Nandos (at the same time government is supposed to be 'tackling' obesity) and anyway everyone will go out Mon-Weds instead of later in the week, so it won't help the economy
Well I won’t be eating chain rubbish like McDonald’s or Nandos anyway. There some decent places that have signed up where I live tbh.
Yeah our local places mostly doing it too, but we just eat out when we want, so we went last night
But if you've a family i guess it turns into quite a saving so I can see it from that point of view
I think it's a reasonable idea to try and help businesses. We're thinking of taking advantage with some friends.
Will probably make us think about eating at places we might not have otherwise.
I see the intent of the policy and have some support for that.
However, I don’t think the outcome will be as intended. It will shift the pattern of demand from the weekend to earlier in the week.
I also don’t like how much of a broad brush is ceding applied. There are some chains that don’t need this support.
If you don’t send this signature to ten people, you will become a Spurs fan.
SECOND WAAAAAVE!
