    Whilst I would still give the athletics nod to Tokyo '91, as a whole I think this could well be the greatest sporting event I've ever seen. I know when you think about it there isn't that much by way of competition outside of World Cups/Euros/World Champs, but even so..

    Last Cricket World Cup was pretty awesome tbf

    As was the first ever T20 World Cup

    Speaking of Athletics World Champs, they are next year in August. Cant wait.

    London host them in 2017

    A thought to go to kip on. If this was the World Cup (and hell, even the European Championships give or take a day or two), we'd only just be out of the group stage by now... A lesson there Rogge!
