Not sure it's wrong at all to judge on the basis of a World Cup. That was his stage and he looked ordinary. These silly fees are the result of inflation far outstripping value as joke clubs like PSG and the gypos spend without real world constraint. Without these dopers Cavani would have a realistic fee attached and the fear factor would recede to Fellaini levels. I wouldn't be worried at all if he went to Utd, it would tie up a big chunk of their budget and they wouldn't get anywhere near a decent return on the investment.
