To be fair to Chamakh he did as well as he has for a while. However, he doesn't have the instinct of a striker, always looks to lay the ball back and I don't see him in the box often enough. But he can't play as a second striker either, because he lacks the creativity and subtlety needed. He's not the sort of player we need, and should be sold in the summer, along with quite a few others actually.Originally Posted by Niall_Quinn
Gervinho has been a major disappointment. I preferred him to Walcott at the start of the season but now it's clear he lacks the mentality to be a top player (and his footballing ability isn't great either).
I don't understand why Oxlade has been totally overlooked.

Thought I heard derisory boos every time the welsh ewe ramsey had possession. From her body language she certainly didn't like it and the garlic cruncher was getting some stick from the fans behind him in the dug out. Great effort from our fans today certainly 12th man returned with avengance imo.
