If we play like we did v Napoli, West Brom don't have a hope in hell of getting anything other that a fucking kicking.
If we ponce around, we may get a bit of a wake up call though.
We're due an arrogant lazy performance at some point. Let's hope it's not today.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
When is Santi coming back ? I read he was hoping to be fit for the Napoli game ?![]()
I'm not too confident about today. I just think the law of averages has to kick in sometime. We've been having an incredible run, but with a fee exceptions our overall performance level simply does not merit results this consistently good.

Yeah it does. We've fully deserved every result we've got.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
It would be little bit shit if the run ended now, as we'd have the international break to mull over it rather than a quick opportunity to get back to winning ways.
There have been many matches in the run (I'm going back over the calendar year) where we have been fortunate with the result. It is true that you make your own luck, and to a large extent we have done so - we have a hard working team and the talent level is rising. But there have been much better teams in the past where this type of run would have been less surprising to me. I hope the run continues, but I have my doubts.

I'm not necessarily looking for a title challenge this year - I don't think we have what it takes up front to sustain one - especially with ECL commitments and my hope that we take the FA Cup seriously. My main hope for this year s that the team continues to improve and that additions where there are weaknesses are made. I think the signing of Ozil has made this something that is much more likely this season.
