Because of Everton losing to palace. I think today will be the day that we will more or less wrap up 4th place. Not mathematically but psychologically. We beat Hull then two home games against a team on holiday and west brom
Apparently their fans want us to win today, because if we get top 4, they'll automatically get a Europa league spot.
They don't have much else to play for bar the final.
I thought they qualified already? 5th, 6th and FA Cup winners/runners up.
The fa cup runners up place only stands if the winners then go on and finish in the top 4. So they'd want us to finish in the top 4, so they'd be guaranteed of European football next season.
http://m.premierleague.com/en-gb/new...ed-140414.htmlIf the FA Cup winners finish in the top four, their UEFA Europa League place goes to the runners-up. However, if the FA Cup winners finish outside the top four, their UEFA Europa League place goes to the next-highest ranked team in the Barclays Premier League (nominally the seventh-placed team)...
If Arsenal beat Hull City in the 17 May final and finish fourth they will qualify for the UEFA Champions League and Steve Bruce’s side will enter the UEFA Europa League as runners-up. However, if the Gunners win the FA Cup and finish outside of the top four they will enter the group stage of the UEFA Europa League as FA Cup winners and an extra place will go to the club who finish seventh in the Barclays Premier League
Fair enough. They better make it nice and easy for us today then.

Strong team, need to put these cunts to the sword.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
