That would be exactly the type of signing we need, but our penny pinching will probably see us lose out again (if we're geniunely interested that is, given that I think the manager is happy enough with Gervinho's signing)

I think it's more dependent on what happens with Fabregas and Nasbo.

If they both go then I think there's leeway both financially and footballistically for a marquee-ish playmaker signing.

I have, at times. I picked someone up earlier when they said it was the worst summer in the history of the club (they tempered the statement when I did so) and that "all our star players want to leave" (which they didn't respond to when I questioned it).

That's if there is substance to the posts. If it's baseless moaning then I'm within my rights to express frustration at that.

Are you saying that repeated moaning is OK but repeated frustration about that moaning isn't? Why?

The moaners are saying how they feel, I'm saying how I feel which is while I share concerns the hyperbole from some on here is ridiculous.

If there was an equivalent blanket posting of people must be on drugs to feel so relaxed post, I'd pick up on that too. In fact I often pick up on posts where people make blanket statements about any particular view on the Board. You may recall some months ago how I posted representative view from other Arsenal Boards to indicate that the views expressed here were varied and reflective of those stated elsewhere.

FWIW I have no problem with negativity although it can be exasperating at times.
Niall_Quinn, for example. Don't agree with much of what he says but it's well written and thought provoking and can be engaged with.
It's the repeated hyperbole and moaning about stuff which hasn't even happened yet which is grating more.
