Playing well enough given how depleted the squad is, the fact Nasri looks like our best attacking outlet says it all really.

Frimpong is such a beast. He'll probs get sent off but loving his work rate. On Twitter, he threatened to kill Suarez for what he did to Ghana at the WC in a Ghanian dialect.
This game shows why we need to either keep Nasri, or at least replace him with an equally good player. Our attacking output would be pretty poor without him. It's lacking already tbh.

Some positives there. TV immense, he's done his homework on Carroll and he's pocketed him in the first half. Jenkinson ungainly but effective and he can cross. Frimpong after an understandably shaky start has done really well considering, definitely potential there. Nasri, we need to replace this guy with equal quality, our best player. Ramsey, spent the half chasing, lots of energy but couldn't establish control of the midfield. The Spanish kid at the back has been okay, TV is talking to him all the time and it's paying off.
Negatives. I think we have to accept our fast paced flowing football is finally gone. This is what we are now, an average team. Walcott and Arshavin played like their laces were tied together. Walcott really isn't progressing from what I can see. RvP isolated and having to drop deep and go wide. Nobody in the box as usual, not sure what advantage we think we're gaining by not putting people in the box.
TV should be captain, you can see his leadership abilities out there today as he holds together an inexperienced defence. We MUST get a full season out of this guy or we are fucked.
Bottom line though, we're holding on. If we're lucky we pinch a 1-0 but it's more likely to go the other way.
