A bit odd to have a medical before a fee has been agreed. All the rags are starting to report this as well which indicates there's some actual fire behind this.
Probably does mean that Jenks will be off then. A shame because if Jenks could play half decently at CB he would be a valuable asset to keep in the squad. As just a rightback I don't think they'll be any use for him now what with both Debauchy and Chambers now ahead of him.
There is a possibility however that Wenger may convert him into a CB as he can also play there which may mean Jenks stays. A bit risky to try it out but if Wenger sees real potential in him then perhaps it could turn into a real masterstroke.
As for the kid himself, from the limited I've seen and read about him I do heavily rate him. Certain to become an England regular in year ahead of that fraud Johnson and should turn out to a solid dependable Sagnaesque right back for us.
