The problem is our midfield, we create far too few chances to feed our CF.

Our midfield aren’t creative enough but we have double the problem when we have a striker like Giroud. Sometimes he’s too static, his touches aren’t good and his shooting is very erratic and poor at times. He’s also very slow and can never out pace his marker. We need improvements in both areas.

Not bad if he's coming off the bench next season for Suarez (won't happen, but I can at least dream), or Benteke (stupid fuck said to be snubbing us for his current pub team), or Jovetic (rumours of Citeh interest surfacing ).

Bloody hell! You know what? He better improve immensely next season as we aren't getting anyone better.

Tbf, he doesn't miss more chances than the typical striker. Just that we produce so little chances, that he can ill-afford to be wasteful in the slight.

That's true but I wouldn't back him in a one-on-one with the keeper.

He's better than the team make him look. Also, lets remember that the entire team last season - tactically and player wise was built around RVP. Not so Giroud. If we had had more talent elsewhere, Giroud's season would have been hailed a success. he's performed far better than the likes of Rooney; Torres and Cisse to mention a few. We suffer because we are generally lacking in creating chances these days.

Try harder. I thought it was well harsh. But not fussed about the ban to be fair. He hasn't been playing well.

I don't think it is a red.

I also think it is a good thing if he has to sit out three matches. There is no way the ban gets increased on the grounds of a 'spurious appeal'.
