Wenger has been in the job twenty years, without doubt he's the most conservative manager in the premier league. He's the managerial equivalent of Harold McMillan.
So in terms of a lot of what he does it's frustratingly predictable, substitutions like middle aged bowel movements always done at the same time. The same substitutions etc

I just don't buy that needing to try and score more at 4-1 up with ten minutes to go in any way lays down a marker to city. As long as they are still level with us on points by winning, they aren't going to give a flying fuck if our goal difference is marginally better at this stage.
