how do we fix the problem? i'm at a total loss tbh.
Bring in a new coach, new ideas, not afraid to spend, someone tactical yet a passing purist.

If people sit back and genuinely reflect, they will see that Wenger is a coach who can do okay and thats down to his genius, however the modern game has moved on and now genius is not enough, you need to prepare to the last letter and set up your team in the right way each game.....all the best managers do it and its no coincidence that we lose so many big games now and have done for a while as Wenger just wont embrace this side of the game.

we also didn't push ridiculously high up the pitch against bayern, had we set up against chelsea the way we did against bayern, we wouldn't be 4-0 down now.
Wenger is not stupid, but he's too stubborn for his own good....i believe he bought into the hype over his 1,000 game and felt he could attack from the off and have a cracker of a game. But the sides in and around us are more ruthless and cynical and will just pick us off. Again i don't think this is a personnel issue, it's a managerial one....and i am not going to say Wenger out because that's knee jerk but he needs to start listening to Steve Bould more.

Cazorla hasn't been on form for a while now.

Bif? He's had several chances to stake a claim. He's blown them all. It's not unfair to get rid of him in the summer.[/QUOTE]

The way forward is to get with the big boys and spend money. That's what football is now. The chavs can have an old bloke up front on £200K a week, from time to time he shows the talent of old. They can have a £50mill bench decoration. We spent years consolidating the finances so £50mill players, £200Kpw contracts, this is what has to be next if we want to finish that Bif chance and change big games. It's about narrow, narrow, £50mill margins. Pay peanuts you get the even willing but out of his depth Bif who just won't do it for you at that critical moment.

Jesus, yes of course. In all the fuss that has been forgotten. It was a yellow card offence.

So the ref has literally got everything it is possible to get wrong with that decision.

Look mate that a fallacy....yes spending is vital but it doesn't take away from the humbling losses we have incurred....

Look at Liverpool this season, they havant had to spend stupid sums, but they spent well, bought in a talented modern manager....we lost 5-1 to these guys

The lack of any threat up front is perhaps WUMger's biggest crime in his time here. We were always top heavy. Now we have no-one. It's insane.

I'm not sure it's steel we need in midfield, but brains and composure.

And we seem to save all our mistakes for the big games. Not just singular mistakes, but colossal repeated ones compounded by even bigger ones in retarded succession.

totally agreed, but do you think wenger will effectively address this in one window.

There are more mistakes in the bigger games because of the lack of a threat up front. The big boys with the guns can go for it safe in the knowledge that they will punish our mistakes with little ridk to themselves when they get it wrong.
