Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has stated that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be allowed to leave the club, but only for a "decent" price.

Reports have suggested that a host of English clubs are interested in securing his services, including Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, but the OL chief has warned that it will take a substantial offer to tempt them into accepting any bids.

"Lloris can go, but only for a decent price in relation to the market," Aulas told TF1.

The goalkeeper played a large part in France's Euro 2012 campaign, selected as captain by coach Laurent Blanc, who stepped down from his post on Saturday. But it looks increasingly likely that the 25-year-old shot-stopper could move away from the Stade Gerland this summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been strongly linked with a swoop for Lloris, while reports in England suggest that Liverpool could also be interested, as well as Spurs.

I think there will be a place for him in our midfield with possible departures and no benny, he wouldnt start every game like he did with Fulham but we are in four comps and the need for a deep squad is there and Dempsey would add quality rather than being a bare minimum which we seem to have had in the past.

Agree. He would be an excellent signing for us - especially as we aren't exactly brimming with attacking midfielders who can score goals! To be honest wouldn't mind sigurdsson for 8million either!

Arsenal are poised to launch a £12million bid to sign France captain Hugo Lloris, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.

Wojciech Szczesny's ascension to first-team regular appeared to have solved Arsene Wenger's long-standing goalkeeper problem, but the Gunners boss is reportedly keen on Lloris, who appeared in all four of France's matches at Euro 2012.
Wenger has received an added boost after Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas admitted he would be willing to cash in on the goalkeeper.
"Lloris can go, but only for a decent price in relation to the market," Aulas told French television channel TF1.
However, Wenger will have to act fast to secure Lloris' services, with Liverpool and AC Milan also thought to be weighing up moves for the 25-year-old.
