Which leaves abroad, where you need technique.

My gut feeling is he'll re-sign.
I actually hope he'll sign but have a feeling he's off. I think it'll be Chelsea or City, I read City are interested this morning!

Both clubs will likely play him 100K per week too, in the grand scheme of things it's not bank breaking wages for either clubs.

I don't think he'd be guaranteed starter for either team, definitely not City, but I think he'd provide a decent service as a squad player.

The way I see it is if RVP leaves Theo will deserve the 100K by default as he'll be one of our remaining best players, his stats & contribution to the team shouldn't be scoffed at IMHO.

I think Quasimodo suits better than Milo.

And is it my imagination or is Wenget being uncharacteristically vocal about transfers this season? Usually it's all "When I know something I let you know" and "the priority is to keep what we have" and "We are not close to anybody".
there's definetly something in that; he may want to show everyone that he's changed his ways after all the pressure he's been under from the media and fans and is now willing to splash out on experienced players, in order to reach the desired level we all expect. maybe it has to do with his contract running out in 2 years and wanting to leave on a high. didn't he say last summer that it's all about now and not the future? i remember reading something along those lines, it was quite refreshing.

and i hope we take the bloody offer for chamakh and it doesn't turn into one of these situations, where every dick and his dog could see that it was a great offer:

if true, then that on its own should have been a sackable offence.

Hang on who was that nutter there that got in a fight with the manager? perhaps the offer is a swap for Chamakh, which would be advantageous to us as we get rid of Chamakh and get a player in his place
its in the region of £4.5m apparently.

4.5 million is not too bad a figure to lose to let go off him. I would think giving 6 million away to get rid off him wouldnt be too bad of a business either.
