Just hope Sturridge is anywhere near last season's form.

Lallana and Borini would have been better options than Balotelli, Gerrard and Lambert today.
Rodgers seems to hate Lallana despite the fact he spent so much on him and he's been much better than some of those who are seemingly always ahead of him in the pecking order.

Lallana has had a thigh problem this month and looked awful against Bolton on the weekend.
But yeah, anyone would have been more effective than Lamotelli tonight. And Lucas was dead in extra time, he should have come off, especially in the second half of it.

Pressing and full of energy, just like last season.
Personally thought it went downhill when Balotelli came on. Seemed the energy diminished and Chelsea took control.
