I wonder how often it happens that a team gets to round 6 with only home draws. We will beat Hull in the replay and home to Watford cant really complain at that draw only thing is Watford have nothing to lose as they are safe in the league so can go all out for the cup. Whereas we will still be delusionable about the CL.

Chelsea are the main worry, our record against them for as long as I can remember is horrendous so if we meet them we have a 99% chance of being knocked out, thus we have to hope they get knocked out by someone else.

We've been lucky with the draw again this year, home matches against lesser teams all the way so far and there's not many top teams left now, Chelsea are the real danger.

I wouldn't bet on us to beat Chelsea in the Final either if we were both to get there.

Happened in 2014 as well, although we had tougher opponents then. Certainly had the luck of the draw these past few years in terms of home ties.

oh yes good point I was thinking that we don't seem to play away much in the cup apart from United last season. we save all the tricky draws for the last 16 of the CL (although partly our own fault for not winning groups).

Tuesday 8th it is then, in between Spuds and West Brom, which is fine as Wenger will probably rotate most of the squad for the game.

Lucky we got that date with the UEFA not normally allowing other games to be played at the same time as CL fixtures.
